Hi there!

I’m Lina, a Slovenian, life-coach, yoga, breathwork, mindfulness teacher and eternal student of life, currently living and sharing my passion in the most stunning little piece of heaven on earth called Gozo – the island of joy.

I’m an economist by profession and enjoy working with numbers, but have found my true love in yoga. My journey started in 2013 when I attended my first Iyengar class but I moved to Malta soon and continued practicing yoga online from the comfort of my home.

At first it was just another physical practice for me, but I soon discovered there was much more to it. The more I practiced, the more things started to change. It was like a domino effect. I practiced daily, I quit smoking, started eating healthier, became healthier, calmer and more grateful. I’ve hit a rough patch along the way and this led me to apply for a teacher training in Thailand at the wonderful Pujan Yoga. I didn’t apply to become a yoga teacher but to deepen my own yoga practice and try to kind of run away from the ‘real world’, heal a broken heart and free myself from destructive thoughts and anxiety. Little did I know this decision would bring me here, sharing this practice with you.

what yoga means to me

For me yoga isn’t all about the poses and how they look on the outside, it’s about the experience that comes from the inside. Yoga is an internal practice and the most rewarding moments of my teaching are when my students come to understanding that the unlimited power lies within them and there is no need to look for it outside. Yoga means connecting the body, the mind and the spirit. It’s a journey of discovering and reconnecting with your true self. It’s like peeling off all the layers and coming back to your core. Back to your true and beautiful self. Back home.

If you want to start your own yoga journey, I’m here for you. I’m here to guide and support you in finding your own mind, body and breath connect.

With Love,

Lina
